We have been using the new machine for some time and wow… I is amazing.
Dell has done it again with another superb machine, the Vostro 1510.

The finger print reader is a lot of fun also. Speed is not a problem with all that RAM and CPU power, I love it.

Intel Core 2 Duo T8100, 2.1GHz, 800MHz FSB, 3M L2 Cache and 3 GB of RAM.

I just can’t stand it any more.  I need to do something and I have.  The old workhorse is out the door and we are bringing in a new beast.

The old Inspiron 1100 with it’s Celeron CPU at 2.4GHz and 1 GB of RAM is being shoved out of the way (as soon as it gets here) by a Vostro 1510, Intel Core 2 Duo T8100, 2.1GHz, 800MHz FSB, 3M L2 Cache and 3 GB of RAM.  He is going to be nicely endowed packing 256MB NVIDIA; GeForce; 8400M GS graphics card, 250GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive with Free Fall Sensor, and other titillating tricks.

Ordering him was not the most easiest of tasks and I know with saying that you are wondering just how hard could it be.  Well I have no explanation and nor does Dell, but it unfolded like this. 

Hey guys… I know it’s been a long time. Hope your new year is going well… I have been so busy this first quarter. I have a new friend I would like to tell you guys about. His name is Squirrely and he has this liquor store called… Squirrely’s Liquor, you have to go check this out. What a hoot.

So Squirrely has been keeping me busy, as SCC Web Hosting has been installing his IT equipment. Not to mention the training of him, his wife, and his employees. So I have been standing buy as like with any friend of SCC Web Hosting we pride ourselves as a handholding IT company.

Wow were has the time gone… The semmestor is almost over! This semester has given me a run for my money.

Oh and as for the haunted house… It was faboulus. Kinds by the truck load. They were lined up waiting for us to open. We purchases a cobweb machine that took some time to learn how to use it correctly. We started off with to much air, but with some tinkering we were able to create some amazing cobwebs. We have been told we need to expand to a new location next year. We will see.

For about a month now we have been gearing up for this years haunted house. As most of you know we host a haunted house each year for the locals. This year will be even bigger and better. We have been collecting items and creating new creatures for several week, unlike last year which caught us off guard. Now do get me wrong, last year was great.

We have procured some “pictures” that were made for a major amusement park [can't mention the name] and were slightly damaged thus they fell into our hands. These pictures can only be described as trick pictures in which you see things when lighted properly.

All of us at txboyk just love magicians and illusionists. So we are trilled to see The Spencers Theater of Illusions coming to our campus.

I saw the truck driving around our campus this morning when I was going to class. Hope they found Jones Auditorium.

I hope they could call me on stage. We will see tonight!

What do you do when you have a vehicle that you drove into the ground? One that would cost to much to fix back up. A vehicle that is not a collector item. Just a plain old vehicle, nothing special.

Do you sell it for scrap? List it in the local clasified ad.

Would a junk yard want it?

Why do all these people have these cars in their yards. Is it that hard to dispose of used automobiles?

Yes I have made the jump and purchased a Nintendo Wii. I have been playing that thing for hours and hours. I just can’t get over the wireless remotes. Why didn’t they do that a long time ago.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that you had to purchase the “points” to download the web browser. I have seen, at one time it was free, for a limited time. That’s not cool. If it was free, it should still be free.
